Definition of Wired
Wired is a billiards slang term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
Wired is a billiard term that refers to a situation where two object balls are frozen, or almost frozen, and are lined up for a pocket as such that contact on the first ball, without the necessity of any degree of accuracy, will all but guarantee the pocketing of the second ball. See specific game rules for any regulations that may apply to calling shots.
