Definition of Frozen
Frozen is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
A situation where a ball is in firm contact with a cushion or another ball. Any ball that is in direct contact with a rail or any other ball including the cue ball, is said to be frozen.

Frozen - Usage
There is nothing you can do, since the cue ball is frozen against the rail, and is blocked on the other side.
