Definition of Stun Run Through
Stun Run Through is a billiards slang term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
A stun run through is a shot for which stun is applied, but not quite as much as would be on a normal stun shot. A stun run through would have just enough stun as such that instead of completely stopping the cue, it allows for a little bit of follow. The stun run through is used so that the player can control the the follow on a shot more reliably while using a nice firm stroke. The stun run through is widely known as one of the most challenging billiard shots for players to master. Once it has been learned, though, the stun run through can be the most versatile shot in a player's repertoire.
