Definition of Shot
Shot is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
A shot is an action which begins when the cue tip contacts the cue ball and ends when all balls have stopped moving. Don't confuse shot with stroke. A stroke begins before a shot has ever technically taken place.
