Definition of Run The Table
Run The Table is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
The term run the table refers to the action of a player to break, and then pocket all of his or her required balls, followed by the 8 ball, in most games. The difference between someone who has run the table, and someone who has run out, is that to run the table, you must run from the break shot all of the way to a victory, whereas to run out only requires the player to run all remaining required balls from any given shot.
