Definition of Break Shot
Break Shot is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
The break shot is the first shot of a billiard game intended to break a rack and possible pocket balls. There are many different break shot techniques, and each game has different rules that govern the break and the break shot. Players can purchase special pool cues designed to make the break shot better than a regular cue.
