Definition of Fluke
Fluke is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
A fluke is a shot that has an unexpected positive result, such as being pocketed. The perfect example of a fluke is a shot that misses its originally intended pocket, rebounds from a few more pockets, and finishes by falling in to another pocket. Another example of a fluke is an unintended, but beneficial safety position falling in to place after a missed pocket, through sheer luck.
