Definition of Position
Position is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
Position is a term that is used as a shorthand for position play. In position play, the shooting player works hard to ensure that the position of the balls, chiefly the cue ball, after a shot, is as optimal as possible to ensure that the next shot can be made with as much ease as possible.
