Definition of Pockets
Pockets is a billiards slang term that is a part of Pool Table Terminology.
Pockets, in a cue sport context, refers to the six openings of a billiard or snooker table. There are pockets in each corner, and pockets in the middle of each long rail. In a slang context, the term pockets is a shortened term for the game of one pocket billiards.
