Definition of Long Rail
Long Rail is a billiards term that is a part of Pool Table Terminology.
The long rail refers to either of the two longer rails on a billiard table. The long rail, opposite each other, and perpendicular to the short rail, are ended by corner pockets and bisected in the middle with a center pocket.
