Definition of Dead Ball Shot
Dead Ball Shot is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
A dead ball shot is a type of shot that billiard players can utilize that has the effect of stopping the cue ball after it has struck the target object ball. This is accomplished by shooting the cue ball with the use of draw and some inside english. It can be used in position play, or to simply prevent a scratch.
