Definition of Stop Shot
Stop Shot is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
A stop shot is a type of shot in which the cue ball comes to a stop immediately as it impacts with the object ball. The stop shot can be preformed by applying inside english and draw to the cue ball. A stop shot can be beneficial to players trying not to scratch on straight in shots.
