Talls and Smalls (billiard balls) is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Accessory Terminology.
Talls and Smalls is a little-used slang phrase sometimes used in place of stripes and solids.
"Smalls" would refer to solids, or the solid balls (the small numbered balls 1 to 8) and "Talls" would refer to stripes, or the striped balls (the higher numbered balls 9 through 15).
