Definition of Solids
Solids is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Accessory Terminology.
Solids refers to the non-striped suit of balls (hence solid) in a set of 15 billiard balls.
The set of solids are numbered 1 through 7 inclusive and make up the low suit of balls.
Solids may also be called be called lows, low ones, solid, solid ones, or solid balls.

Am I shooting solids? Yeah, you pocketed the 3 ball on the break, so you are now shooting solids.
