Definition of Solids and Stripes (billiard balls)

Solids and Stripes (billiard balls) is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Accessory Terminology.

The term *solids and stripes* refers to the two groups of balls within a 15-ball pocket billiards ball set. The solids group are the balls numbered 1 through 8, and the stripes group are the balls numbered 9 through 15.
