Definition of Throw Shot
Throw Shot is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
A throw shot is a shot that contacts the object ball and changes its path due to the amount of english applied. The term throw shot can also refer to a combination shot whereby the initial ball first rubs against the center connecting line of the two frozen object balls. This causes the second object ball to be thrown out.

Throw Shot - Usage
He won the game with a final throw shot to pocket the eight ball. That was a pretty crazy throw shot. I think Richard will try a throw shot with those two balls down at the end of the table.
