Definition of Rotation
Rotation is a billiards term that is a part of Game Rule Terminology.
Rotation is a term that has a few definitions in the world of cue sports. In the simplest form, the term rotation refers to one of many games played in pool. See rotation in the section on rules. Generically, the term rotation refers to any game in which the numbered object balls must be played in ascending order. Some common rotation games in billiards are seven ball, fifteen ball, ten ball, and nine ball.

We just had a few games of rotation, so I welcome a nice easy game of eight ball.
