Definition of Ten Ball
Ten Ball is a billiards term that is a part of Cue Sport Game Name Terminology.
Ten ball is a billiard game played with the first ten balls. One Billiards Forum user, tablebilliard, summarized the game of 10-ball pool very nicely:
Ten ball is a modern pocket billiards game. It is a rotation game very similar to nine-ball, but more difficult, using ten balls instead of nine, and with the 10 ball instead of the 9 as the "money ball".

Ten Ball - Usage
I like ten ball billiards better than six ball billiards because it is more fun to play.
