Definition of Re Spot
Re Spot is a billiards term that is a part of Game Rule Terminology.
To re spot a ball means that you take the ball from the pocket or from wherever it may be, and place it back on the table on the particular spot as specified by that particular game's rule set.

That was an illegally pocketed 4 ball, so you must re spot it to the table.
