Definition of Pitching
Pitching is a billiards slang term that is a part of Gambling and Betting Terminology.
The act of intentionally losing a billiard match on which there are financial assets at stake through gambling. The player who is pitching is the player who is agreeing and is in collusion to lose the match. The player who is pitching generally takes a cut of all winnings from other players in collusion in return for intentionally losing the match. The person doing the pitching would be outlined in the gapper.
