Definition of On The Snap
On The Snap is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
In it's simplest form, the term on the snap means to win on the opening break shot through pocketing the game ball. The term on the snap is commonly used in the game of nine ball where a win is attained by pocketing the 9 ball at any time on a legal stroke.
