Definition of Long String
Long String is a billiards term that is a part of Pool Table Terminology.
The long string is an imaginary line that runs from the center of the head rail to the center of the foot rail. The long string line is the line that geometrically divides the pool table in to equal half-sections. The long string intersects the center string and the foot string at the head spot, the head string, the center spot, and the foot spot.

All of my balls are somehow on only one side of the long string. That is going to be weird to play.
