Definition of Centre String
Centre String is a billiards term that is a part of Pool Table Terminology.
The centre string is an imaginary and unmarked line which bisects the centres of the two centre pockets and the centre spot. Where the centre string intersects the long string is known, and defines, the centre spot. The centre string runs horizontally across the exact centre of the billiard table.
