Definition of Drill
Drill is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
The term drill has several meanings related to billiards and cue sports. A drill is a set practice routine that can be practiced over and over until it becomes habit. Players practice with billiard training drills in order to get better. To drill someone, chiefly an opponent, means to beat them at a game of billiards very badly. The British, chiefly, refer the bank shot as the drill shot.

Gary just got drilled 13-0. Jeff is going to drill Andrew. What is your favorite practice drill for learning the diamond system? I like drill shots, mate.
