Definition of Drag Shot
Drag Shot is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
A drag shot is a type of billiard shot that is executed with a high degree of draw and follow through, and with a slow speed. The drag shot allows the cue ball to be firmly hit while at the same time, keeping the pace slow. This gives the shooting player a greater level of control that he or she would get had they used just a light tap.
