Definition of Cheat The Pocket
Cheat The Pocket is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
To cheat the pocket is to shoot the object ball slightly to the left or slightly to the right side of the pocket in order to create an angle for position play. Cheating the pocket is commonly used on a shot that would otherwise be straight in.
