Definition of Bumper Pool
Bumper Pool is a billiards term that is a part of Cue Sport Game Name Terminology.
Bumper pool is a type of billiard game that is played on a small table shaped like an octagon. The bumper pool table has two bumpers in the middle of the bed, and two more bumpers around each of the openings of the pocket. The object of bumper pool is to pocket the object balls into the opposite pocket by striking it directly, rather than making use of a cue ball.
