Definition of Bed
Bed is a billiards term that is a part of Pool Table Terminology.
A billiard table bed refers to the playable surface of a billiards table, usually made of slate, and covered with worsted wool or a baize material. The bed does not include the cushions. Some high-end tables feature temperature controlled slate.
