Info on a Newer "Palmer" Pool Cue
Can anyone tell me about this Palmer pool cue?
It has the "PALMER" logo on the butt cap.

billiardsforum on 4/20/2023 6:26:03 AMThis is an inexpensive import cue, and is unrelated to the famed Palmer Billiard Corp. of Elizabeth, NJ from the 1970s. The name was "taken" by overseas makers.
This is a Palmer import cue from Taiwan I believe. They were distributed in North America through a few different small-time distributors over the years.
I can't pinpoint the exact Palmer model number (because the brochures and catalogs are very hard to find), but this cue was a Palmer import cue made in the late 1990s or early 2000s overseas.
They are generally regarded as decent pool cues, but aren't worth more than $50. In most cases, the designs are painted on or are decals affixed to the cues. Not real inlays. They retailed new for between $69 and $149 at the time I believe.
