Definition of Thick Shot
Thick Shot is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
A thick shot refers to hitting the object ball without enough of a cut angle. A thin shot happens when you need to hit the object ball more to the right or left of the center, but instead, you hit it more straight-on.

You are probably going to have to take a thick shot on the 7 ball if you want to put it in the far corner pocket.
