Definition of Safety Break
Safety Break is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
A safety break is a type of break shot that is played with the intention of leaving the incoming player in a situation where there are no shots available, or at the very least, no easy shots. A safety break is a break technique that is normally utilized by the opening player in the game of straight pool.
