Definition of Potting Angle
Potting Angle is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
The potting angle is the desired angle that must be created between the trajectory of the cue ball and the path of the object ball upon contact in order to ensure that the object ball is potted successfully. The potting angle is commonly measured to the pocket's center.
