Definition of New Cloth Slide
New Cloth Slide is a billiards slang term that is a part of Pool Table Terminology.
New cloth slide is a phenomenon where balls have a tendency to exhibit slide after striking a cushion. As cloth ages, it collects chalk and dust, and thus, tends to grip the ball surface better.
