Maximum is a billiards term that is a part of Snooker Terminology.
Maximum is a snooker term that refers to the act of the shooting player potting all possible balls on the break shot to attain the maximum score possible. Shooting maximum generally affords the shooting snooker player 147 points. For details of the calculations, see maximum break.
