Definition of Mark
Mark is a billiards slang term that is a part of Gambling and Betting Terminology.
A mark is relatively gullible and foolish patron in a billiard hall or pool room and because of that, they are the target of a hustle or other gambling scam. Alternative, and less commonly, the term mark refers to the physical act of pointing out the pocket into which you intend to sink the object ball.
