Definition of Lock Artist
Lock Artist is a billiards slang term that is a part of Skill Level Terminology.
A lock artist is a billiard player who is highly skilled at creating opponent match ups as such that when the game is played, it becomes a lock for that player. If you are able to find a player who is considerably worse than you, convince them to play you, and then play the game as such that it was a lock the entire way through, you are a lock artist.

Harry is a lock artist! I can't believe that he can get these people to play him that are just nowhere near as close to his skill level.
