Definition of Lock
Lock is a billiards slang term that is a part of Skill Level Terminology.
The term lock is used to tag a game as a sure thing for one player, usually based on a disparity in skill level. You have a lock on a billiard game if you were up against a player who was so much worse than you, that you had no chance to lose.
