Definition of Handle
Handle is a billiards term that is a part of Pool Cue Terminology.
The handle is simply the portion of the cue you would be holding if there was no wrap present. The handle is the precise position where the player has the best gripping power that can be generated, and it is situated below the forearm and above the butt portions of the pool cue. The handle is often covered with a wrap, but other times left bare to create a simple seamless style.
Handle - Usage
You need to move your hand back a little to the handle so that you can do a more powerful break shot.
