Definition of Gather

Gather is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.

In one pocket, gather means bringing randomly spread balls together into a specific desirable area, either near your pocket, or out of play at the far end of the table, or perhaps into a cluster intended to block banking lanes.

Gather - Usage

You are going to need to gather the 4 ball and the 5 ball over near the far corner.
