Definition of Finish
Finish is a billiards slang term that is a part of Pool Cue Terminology.
Finished refers to the protective coating that covers the outer surface of a pool cue. Finish is typically applied to the pool cue after construction is complete and serves to protect the pool cue from fading, chalk, dings, and moisture. A common type of finish use on a billiard cue is a UV polyurethane.
