Definition of Felt
Felt is a billiards slang term that is a part of Pool Table Terminology.
A low-quality material used as cloth on low-end billiard and snooker tables that imitates baize or worsted wool. Inexperienced billiard players often refer to cloth made from wool or baize as the felt due to it's similar look and feel.
