Definition of Dog
Dog is a billiards slang term that is a part of Skill Level Terminology.
Dog refers to the action of missing a relatively easy billiard shot while under considerable external pressure. It is a term that is mainly used in the USA. It can also refer to a shot that one may call a slop shot. This definition is used primarily in the southern USA.
