Definition of Call Pocket
Call Pocket is a billiards slang term that is a part of Game Rule Terminology.
Call pocket is a phrase sometimes used, incorrectly, by players to refer to the called pocket. In this context, call pocket simply refers to the pocket in which the shooting player has indicated that he or she will be attempting to put the target object ball. Call pocket may refer to a subset of rules where players need only call the target pocket.
