Definition of Banking Lane
Banking Lane is a billiards slang term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
The banking lane is the route that a banked ball would need to have for a clear path to the pocket; especially the area along the side rail within a few inches of the side rail that would block most straight back banks.

You just have to take the 5 ball and send it straight down the banking lane.
