Just a casual player with a fondness for older Meucci's, tho my main playing cue is a newer PP4. I just had the first "nice" cue I bought restored. Its a 40 year old Jimmy Rempe JR-5 Series 2 I bought in winter 1982-83 for $500, which was outlandishly huge money for a 22 year old making 180 a week. But there was some kind of magic in that pretty piece of wood, it paid for itself in less than a month. Now that its beatiful again I may use it for a while and see if any of that magic remains!!!
