Ever Heard of a Meucci 97 - 11

Ever Heard of a Meucci 97 - 11

97-11 not a HOF 1.

Black, Green, and Red inlays.

Hof 1 does not have the green inlay

It was sold by Mueller Sports...

The one I find that looks closest to it is the 95-11???

Perhaps it is the 95-11??

The Meucci HOF-1 and the Meucci 97-11 are nowhere close to the same cue.

Perhaps you meant HOF-2, but even then, the differentiator is the "chain link" style rings on the 97-11 vs the non-"chain link" style rings on the HOF-2.

Your title says "97-11" but later you mentioned "95-11".

Also, in MOST cases, stain-colors don't matter in terms of identifying a Meucci cue's model.

Because you've only shown the forearm, I have no idea what actual cue you're talking about. So, there's no point in discussing further until we can see the full cue.

Show us the butt sleeve, and tell us the year in which you bought it, and we'll go from there.

    Hope this helps.

It was bought in the mid to late 1990's

    Yeah, it's either a:

    • Meucci M-6 pool cue
    • Meucci 95-11 pool cue
    • Meucci HOF-1 pool cue

... and the veneer color might have been a Mueller's exclusive, if that's where you bought it.

For all three models above, the catalog photos all show just red veneer, or just black veneer.

But again, stain color isn't a reliable feature to use for identification of Meucci cues.

But it also might have been whatever color the factory used at that time.

I have images of a "certificate of authority" for a Meucci M-6 cue from the German market, and that cue has the green veneers. That cue was from 1991.

But in the end, regardless which of those three models you have, the value is more-or-less the same.

    I appreciate the info. Thanks

It's a beautiful Meucci pool cue either way, thanks for sharing!

You should check out these earlier questions on the same cue design. There are certainly some others with green veneers, and a few other veneer color combos as I mentioned above:
