Best Way to Sell a Used Pool Table
I have a Brunswick Heritage pool table fully disassembled due to having new flooring put in.
I thought it would be a good time to sell it but I have no idea of the best way to sell a used pool table.
Any ideas?
I'm in Dallas, TX.

You have a few options:
- Post it in our pool tables for sale section with photos and all of the details.
- Post it on classified sites local to your area
- Contact local pool table repair companies and pool table retailers and ask if they sell used pool tables on consignment. A bunch definitely would be doing this, especially in a big cue-sports city like Dallas.
- Word of mouth - if you play at any local pool halls or in any leagues, get the word out that you have a pool table for sale. With almost anything you are trying to accomplish, I find that little else beats simply getting out there are talking to people. It's amazing what you can accomplish.
The one bad thing you'll have to deal with is the fact that it's a buyer's market. It has been for a long time, and will continue to be one for a long time, if not forever into the future. People aren't as keen as they once were about keeping pool tables in the home, and there is a definite trend toward minimalism and de-cluttering the home. That, along with ten or more straight years of cheap import pool tables flooding the market, there is a HUGE surplus of quality used pool tables for sale on classified sites. I mean people are literally giving away big brand pool tables for free, just to get rid of them. It's hard to compete with free.
You have a quality brand and a quality model with a somewhat timeless design, so you might do OK with it.
Good luck and let us know what you end up trying and how it turns out.
