How to Disassemble a Fischer Empire VIII Pool Table

I am looking for info on how to remove the slate, and disassemble an early 1960s - 1970s Fischer Empire VIII pool table.

It took us over 2 hours to remove it from the home I bought it from, with the legs attached.

I've been searching the web, but have found that very little-to-nothing is posted on these Fischer pool tables.

I would also love to know how to decipher the serial number:

SN # 76571

   Yes, it is very hard to come by the instruction manuals for these Fischer pool tables.

   I do have this one "how to disassemble" sheet for a Fischer Duchess VIII / VII pool table. No idea if they're similar, but it might give you some hints on where to start.
