Trophy by Brunswick Pool Cue Value

Trophy by Brunswick Pool Cue Value

What is the value of a Brunswick Trophy series pool cue?

What might this mint condition "Trophy by Brunswick" pool cue be worth?

That Brunswick Trophy cue is in great shape. At least the 10% of the cue that we can see in the photo.

Can you please upload a few more pictures showing more of the cue please?

Also, please share any other relevant details, such as where it might be from, etc.

It is a 4-point cue correct?

Having almost zero info on the cue, I can only make a guess for now. I would value it at between $350 and $500 USD. Also consider that the market is soft.

    • 2013 - In 2013, a Brunswick Trophy cue was valued at $450, a bit beat up. Can't tell if it is identical to yours though, and don't know if it actually sold.

    • 2015 - In 2015, a 1960s Brunswick Trophy cue which the seller says was from the collection of Dufferin Cue founder Al Turchet. It was sold for about $500 USD, but commanded that probably due to it's provenance.

What you have going for you is that yours is in fantastic shape, and comes in a Brunswick case probably from the same era?

Not sure the history. A friend gave it to me...

So it’s a 1960s era? Yes, it’s in great shape. Would $500USD be realistic? Or would it be worth more or less than that?

It’s all in fantastic condition. Hard to believe it’s from the 1960s. Very cool tho!

Thanks for sending the additional photo of the cue.

I am still trying to locate a Brunswick catalog showing the Trophy cue in this photo. They named a bunch of various cues "Trophy" over the years, so I am still trying to track down the correct one.

Once I do that, it will tell us the year for sure, and then you can probably hone in on a value.

But for now, assuming it's the 1960s model (would be late 1960s I think), then I would say more toward the vicinity of $500+.

Wonder what the value of the case is?

  5. John Olsenbilliardsforum on 1/6/2018 3:25:19 PM

Does the cue have any other logo on the other side we can't see?

I did find the Brunswick pool cue case in the 1969 catalog (though the same case was available earlier than this), but no luck with the cue. Perhaps your friend can share whether he bought the two items together, etc.

Here is the case. Sorry for the bad photo, it's all we've got have at the moment. As for the value, no idea. But it too is in good shape.

Thanks for this. There are no other logos on the cue.

Also, I will be selling. What should I ask as a package?

I came here looking for the value of a Brunswick Trophy cue. I have a Brunswick Trophy pool cue. It has a a break shaft and a snooker shaft, and weighs 17 oz. Both the snooker shaft and and handle have black ebony inlay.

Do you have any more photos, an asking price, and a phone number?

I too have a used Brunswick Trophy pool cue.

It has very few dings and dents on the entire cue, and it is as straight as an arrow. It is a gorgeous cue. I'm guessing that it is maple with an ebony butt.

The screw is shorter than the ones in all of the pictures above (about 1/2 the length, measuring from the flat of the joint to the tip on the screw), joint is the same, and the look is the same.

I have played snooker since the age of 7 and have won the provincial title 7 times, representing Manitoba at the Canadian snooker championship (placed in the top 8-16 a few times). I was also the Manitoba Club snooker pro for 20 years and the house pro at the Las Vegas Amusements and Bourbon Street pool rooms for 10+ years.

A long time friend and pool room owner, Wayne Clisby, of the Crystal Palace in Winnipeg, MB gave me the cue to sell for him.

Would you be able to give me a ball-park price on the cue?

I just put a new tip on the cue and tried a few shots with it. It has a fairly even weight distribution, a smooth shaft, and is not butt heavy. It has a nice sound hit!

Thank you in advance for your response!

I have a Brunswick Trophy Snooker Cue 17 in a case for sale. It belonged to my husband’s father and was purchased in Victoria, BC in the late 1960’s. Seldom used in casual play. The label is in excellent condition as is the case and cue. Having read this forum, price, of course, is determined by condition. I am open to offers. Maureen
