High Grip Snooker Chalk
Sorry to ask, but what are the name brands that World Top Ranking Snooker Players are using?
I am looking for a very good gripping property, besides my usual Triangle brand green cue chalk. But the version for sale in my region was found to be a Chinese fraud version.
Thanks and Happy Potting.

Check this thread, from about 2 years ago which discusses the best cue chalk for snooker players.

Thanks for the note. I have already read the forum on "the best chalk".
Now I want to know what YOUR opinion is on best billiard chalk? Are there any newer snooker chalks on the market since that was posted a year ago?

The issue of chalk and the kind of tip one tends to like are linked. Hit hard with lots of spin, and you will tend to prefer a chalk with bite and a hard tip. Hit medium with delicate control and you may prefer a medium tip and a chalk without quite so much bite.
Within each chalk manufactures line of cahlk, there are those with more bite (typically Blue, Grey, and Brown) and those with lesser bite (Green and Red).
I, personally, can tell the difference between Blue and Green Master chalk, and prefer the bite of Blue over that of the Green. However, I have used Triangle to good effect (many years ago), and recently used Silver Cup for a short duration. While differnt, its something you can get used to -- IF it is of the right "bite" level for the kind of game you play.
If you happen to have an appetite for finding this out for yourself, ask you local billiards establishment if you can buy a box (12) populated with 1 or 2 different colored cubes of each color. Give these a try, and see which one fits your fance.
